This morning we saw the sun rise over Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world, measuring approximately ginormous by gargantuan with temperatures hitting a billion degrees Fahrenheit, plus or minus a few.
Our trusty guide led us up, down and around the temple, pointing out the various gods and goddesses and stolen heads of said gods and goddesses.
There are more than 45 temples in the Angkor complex, and it took us a solid five hours just to see this one. We drank a gallon of water and pressed on.
