This afternoon we found ourselves in the middle of an Indiana Jones movie at the temple of Ta Prohm. Technically, the temple was used in Tomb Raider, but since we've never seen that movie we like to think it was Indiana Jones. This temple wins the prize for perfect jungle to ruins ratio.
Within the walls of Angkor Thom lies the temple of Bayon, our second major stop on the temple tour and home to approximately 200 smiling stone faces that made us...you know. :)
Later this morning we entered Angkor Thom, but not before crossing over your typical moat guarded by 108 stone gods. 54 guardians on the left and 54 demons on the right. You know, to balance things out.
