This month we stayed in hotels, apartments, Airbnb's, bungalows, beach huts and one Khmer house with friendly resident geckos.
Today we are back in Ubud, Bali and exploring the 5am morning market with our new friend Made (pronounced Ma-day). Made is the owner and head chef of Run's Warung, a local cafe we stopped in. She invited us to accompany her the next morning while she shopped for the day's foods. We happily agreed. She also got us a sweet deal on some mangoes.
This week we ate and drank all of these things. The coconuts were a gift from our Airbnb host Komang, who after asking if we'd like fresh coconuts, shimmied up a tree nearby and cut down two just for us. Thanks Komang, they were delish.
