Today we scooted about town, hitting up Bokor National Park, an old French hill station.
Today we scooted again, this time to a local pepper farm. Fun fact: Kampot Pepper has been renowned for decades as one of the best peppers in the world. We bought three bags and headed to the beach. Because they go together obviously.
Tonight we found it. The best Italian food we've ever had. And yes, we're still in Cambodia.
Ciao is a roadside shack owned and run by Italian native Diego Sanelli, who makes pizza, pasta, meatballs and calzones so good that Italy should be proud and also heartbroken that they lost their best guy.
If you ever find yourself in Kampot, go directly to Ciao and order every single thing on the menu, none of which are over $4. You will not regret.
